Simona Pascal

My name is Simona A. Pascal and I am currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, University of Bucharest.

I am also a scientific researcher in the Educational Research Unit of the National Centre for Educational Policy and Evaluation. I am a graduate of the Master in Health Psychology-Clinical Research and Behavioral Optimization at the University of Bucharest.

I joined the Laboratory of Cognitive Clinical Sciences in October 2017.

From a professional point of view, my long-term goal is to get involved in research activities involving mental health with as much rigor and responsibility as possible.

Thus, my main research interests are as follows: cognitive characteristics of mental disorders, the role of disgust in maintaining psychopathology and in relapse, applications of priming techniques in clinical psychology, and scientifically validated approaches in psychological assessment.
