The Laboratory of Clinical Cognitive Sciences (LSCC) announces the participation of Prof. Univ. Dr. Ioana R. Podina, Director of the Laboratory, will participate in the international event “Mind Your Mind”, organized by EBRAINS as part of Brain Awareness Week 2026.
The event will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 16:30 to 18:00 CET, in an online format, and will bring together international experts for a discussion on neurotechnologies, neurodata protection, and the principle of ‘Privacy by Design’ in technological innovation.
As technologies capable of collecting and analyzing data on brain activity become increasingly accessible, the importance of protecting privacy, human rights, and mental integrity is also growing. The discussion will address the risks associated with the use of neurodata, as well as the role of transparency and ethical standards in the responsible development of these technologies.
